Visa and Mastercard dominate the market as they are widely accepted worldwide. American Express and Discover are the next big players, but have a lower acceptance rate given their higher processing fees. Cardfellow provides a great breakdown of the various fees by credit card company. Be aware, however, that this can make you a bigger target for tax audits.
